What Scribed is
Scribed is a guided journal club: a weekly journal prompt by email, and in-person or small-group gatherings for reflection and journaling. It's not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or legal advice. If you're going through something serious, please reach out to a qualified professional.
Who it's for
Scribed is intended for adults. By signing up, you're representing that you're old enough to enter into these terms where you live.
Gatherings & payment
Some gatherings are free and invite-only; others may be open to the public with a listed price, paid through Stripe at the time you register. We never see or store your card number. If you need to cancel or have a payment question, email us (see below) before the gathering date. We handle these case by case.
While you're here
Whatever you write in your own journal is yours; we never ask to see it and don't collect it. If you're in a gathering with others, please treat what people choose to share as confidential. The point of a guided circle is a space people can be honest in.
The WhatsApp community
Attendees may be added to a WhatsApp group as the community grows. That's a separate app governed by WhatsApp's own terms, not ours; a Scribed admin can remove anyone from the group at their discretion.
No warranty
This site and the gatherings it describes are provided as-is. We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we don't guarantee the site will always be available or error-free.
Changes
We may update these terms as Scribed grows; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
